A different kind of yoga for the everyday person
Kundalini Yoga and Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan™ is an amazing movement technology based on the ancient understanding of the body’s systems. The sets, or kriyas, are specifically designed to move the body through a series of releases and adjustments to yield very specific results, all composed of higher states of awareness, glandular system balance and joyous rejuvenation. By consciously combining specific methods of breath, movement, stretching, meditation, mantras and relaxation, this is an accelerated transformational practice which promotes amazing results and insures lasting long-term physical, emotional and spiritual benefits. You will feel more alive and healthy after every session.
Nancy is a member of the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA). 500 hr training completed with Dr. Gurucharan Singh Khalsa and Shakta Kaur Khalsa with the objective of guiding students to live a higher standard of wakefulness.
Kundalini Gong and Mantra Meditation
See Events page for dates and times. All Levels Welcome.
Join us for some light yoga to open up the body and release the stress of the day. Then relax and immerse yourself in the sound of the gong as your nervous system is strengthened and your mind relaxes. We finish with a mantra meditation to anchor in the rejuvenation of the session.
Therapeutic Qualities of the Gong
The Sound of the Gong is unpredictable to the human mind, an unprecedented sound with organic development and natural beauty.
- The sound of the Gong is the sound of Creation itself.
- Angelic voices often may be heard in the sounds of gong
- Time seems to stop in the gong field.
- Each body part absorbs the gong frequencies needed to revert to optimal state
- The sound of the gong induces synesthesia and left-right brain hemispheres synchronization.
- Gong is a tool for spiritual awakening and consciousness broadening.
- The Gong Vibratory Matrix cleanses, energizes, relaxes and rejuvenates.
- Nature is built with Phi like Gong Sound.
Systematic hearing and exposure to vibrations, sounds and the music of the gong, leads to reversal and redefinition of established patterns – standardized behaviors that do not serve us anymore, unlocking the vast potential of our soul and liberating us from all that stand in our way to live a life of fullness, harmony and happiness.

“Nancy is a great Kundalini Teacher. She is very knowledgeable and explains the movements and meanings of each one. The pace is quick, yet she allows for individual abilities. I especially enjoy the meditative endings, which are so relaxing.”

An Example Meditation for Personal Practice: “Kirtan Kriya”
Mantra: Sa Ta Na Ma
Teacher: Yogi Bhajan
Posture: Sit straight in easy pose or on a chair. Meditate at the brow point (third Eye) and produce these primal sounds:
Sa Ta Na Ma
On “Sa” touch the first finger (Jupiter) with the thumb tip.
On “Ta” touch the middle finger (Saturn) with the thumb tip.
On “Na” touch the ring finger (Sun) with the thumb tip.
On “Ma” touch the pinky (Mercury) with the thumb tip
Eyes: Eyes are closed.
Time: 11 to 31 Minutes
End: Stretch the hands up as far as possible and spread them wide. Stretch the spine and take several deep breaths. Relax.
By practicing Kirtan Kriya, we begin to understand the cycle of creation. From the Infinite comes life, from life comes death or change. From death or change comes the re-birth of consciousness to the joy of the Infinite through which compassion leads back to life.
